CELEBRITY | RED CARPET

A-List celebrities came out wearing their best for the MET Gala on Tuesday night in New York for the Costume Institute Gala, of 'Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty. In case you might have seen some of the photos, you'll notice everyone was decked out in some seriously couture gowns, like SERIOUSLY! And although I loved the simple do and makeup that accompanied some of these look, I did love the classic bun or chignon as well.
Personally the look that killed me for the night was Beyonce. Although I did love her dress gorgeous Emilio Pucci dress, even though the open front with lace gave some interesting illusions at times, I did not fancy that she could not walk up the stairs because her dress was too tight. I love fashion just as much as I love beauty, but to me, that's a total fashion faux. Not sure if that's why she got booed going up the stairs or if it's because she skipped some of the onlookers waiting to take photos, but honestly it did look silly especially in so many of the photos where she looked a little lopsided like she was going to fall over---it was just a bit weird!
